The first rehearsal
Hellooo!
Today we had a great first rehearsal for my final exam!! It was very exciting, because the band was completely new! And only the bassplayer and drums have had performances together before.
My songs turned out great. “King Of Hearts” has been arranged today and it’s more beautiful then ever!!
So… If you want to be part of the audience on the 18th of January: you’re still very welcome!!

Hi everybody!
Today I’m going to record the vocals of some songs! They are going to be really nice, I can feel it! :)
Because of my final exam, I will post these recordings there AFTER the 18th of January. So my audience can be really surprised or flabbergasted ;-)

Final exam
Hi everybody!
The 18th of January of 2012 I will be graduating from my singer-songwritereducation! The exam will consist of a concert of 45 minutes in which me and my band will present the songs that I have written myself.
In those 45 minutes a panel of teachers from Artez will evaluate how well my performance was and how well I have set up the evening. By setting up I mean everything: the band, lights, sound, music, stage, stage-presence, performance and so on and so on. I’m really excited!
After the 45 minutes, the panel will discuss all of this and grade my exam. After that I will be joining them to hear their criticism and I will receive my grade. After all of that I will (hopefully:) be graduated from Artez!

Ten Thousand Pieces of mixing
Hello again!
This last week I wasn’t feeling well and everything had to be rescheduled…
Let’s make a change
After a few months I’ve decided to change some things. The band that I’ve worked with for a few months is now seperated. It was my choice, because we went in a direction that wasn’t the style I wanted to go to.
Recordings are delayed but new songs are made!
The recording with the band of the song “A Dot In Your World” came out great! Tim and Piter did a great job with mixing it together. But when Tim wanted to record the singing part with our great teacher Tom Salisbury last thursday, I got sinusitus! So we made a demo-version for now, but we are going to record the singing part again when we are going to record the next song!
